HOW THIS BOOK CAME TO BE
Having been raised in the Lutheran church, Don Roth came to realize the church taught its own doctrine which was not backed up by Scripture. He left the church and began his journey of discovering God’s truth as written.
The mystery of how God tracks time was hidden in the Noachian Flood. Don was called to solve this mystery. As an engineer, Don would always accept challenges when others would not.
After figuring out God’s biblical calendar, Don ran an ad on a local radio station which caught the attention of Sean Walsh, who, after the passing of his father began his own journey in search of God’s truth. Having been raised in the Catholic church, Sean never bought into all its teachings, but still continued with the faith. After ordering and watching Don’s free DVD showing God’s biblical calendar, Sean understood and felt led to reach out to him.
Unknown when they first met that both men came from the same industry giving them the same problem solving mindset. Don became Sean’s biblical mentor, never giving him the answers but challenging him to look deeper than the surface level that is preached in every church on Sunday. Over the years, Don would say to his wife; “this guy’s never going to get it.”
Little did either of the men know what God was doing. While Don was continuing to study Scripture, Sean was studying “Christianity.” Wanting to learn biblical truth, Sean thought there would be no place better to learn than a non-denominational Bible church. It was through this journey from growing up Roman Catholic and as an adult experiencing the evangelical – Pentecostal side of the faith, Sean discovered that the Bible is not taught accurately.
God brought these two men together for a reason. Neither one of them has been trained by their religion or denomination as to what the Bible says in order to fit the organization’s already established doctrine. They have not been trained by the schools or seminaries that today’s pastors, ministers or priests attend. The gospel of John chapter 9 tells of the blind man whose eyes Jesus put clay on, allowing him to see. Don Roth and Sean Walsh have been blessed just as that man and now are sharing what they can see that others cannot.
Christianity is built on one false doctrine after another.
